Tomek K is a Polish libertarian activist who has launched and led a series of freedom oriented projects. As founder of Centrum Kapitalizmu he has worked on Poland’s libertarian movement through the Weekend of Capitalism conference, the Freedom Lounge in Warsaw, the Laissez Fest summer festivals, the Laissez Faire United football team and Bitcoin FilmFest. He names Bitcoin, Ayn Rand’s Objectivism and microstates as the most important routes to liberty, and lists travel, electronic music and chess among his interests.
His full name is Tomek Kołodziejczuk. He founded Centrum Kapitalizmu in Warsaw in 2017, through the foundation Fundacja Instytut Nieagresji, to make the moral case for capitalism to business, media, universities and non-governmental organisations. He was chief organiser of the first Weekend Kapitalizmu, held in Warsaw in November 2017 with about four hundred attendees, and Students for Liberty, whose alumnus he is, calls him the founder of its Polish team.
He co-founded Bitcoin FilmFest, which staged its first large festival in Warsaw in March 2023 and now runs at the Kinoteka cinema in the Palace of Culture and Science; the organisers put the 2026 edition at more than four hundred people from fifteen countries, and it stages smaller events in Lisbon, Lugano, San Salvador, Cape Town, Funchal and Maribor. He now works on the Bitcoin District in Próspera, which describes itself as a startup society inside the jurisdiction and lists him among its district guides. Its work runs from weekly meetups and onboarding merchants to help with residency and company registration, a modular timber housing scheme, and the naming rights to the largest sports venue on Roatán.
