Veronika Kütt

Veronika Kütt is a mathematician and strategist, and a recognised voice in the Bitcoin community. She lectures on Bitcoin and crypto-assets at universities including the Frankfurt School of Finance.

She joined the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center in 2018 as a research assistant, where her work focused on open, permissionless systems, chiefly Bitcoin and the Lightning Network. She has also taught at the Bundeswehr University in Munich and runs workshops for practitioners, taking apart how the technology works underneath the price.

Her audience is mostly people who are not already convinced: bankers, public administrators and executives who need to understand what a bearer asset with no issuer means for the institutions they run. She writes for German banking publications and has spoken at industry conferences since the first wave of European blockchain events, and she is one of the few German-speaking Bitcoin educators who came to the subject from mathematics, which she read at Goethe University in Frankfurt, rather than from finance or activism.
