Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Rodrigo joins the Free Private Cities movement after having experienced how devastating poverty can be to many communities. His fascination with political philosophy and economics has led to the realization that the optimization of jurisdictional systems is crucial in order to unleash accelerated and sustainable prosperity, and competition is the best way to achieve that end. He has previously worked in the financial services industry in Hong Kong and Brazil. He later joined Grupo SolPanamby as the managing director of its Family Office as well as a board member with executive roles in the Group’s real estate, media, and agriculture operations, leading the creation of multiple business units and shifting the group’s strategic plan to large scale real estate projects. He later implemented his Financial expertise as CFO of NeWAY Capital, a company in the field of competitive governance.
