Aleksa Burmazovic has worked on offshore banking, special economic zones and tax optimisation for eight years, and speaks and writes on the subject. He is active with Nomad Layer, the official tax residency partner of the Próspera ZEDE.
He is Serbian, and also writes his name Aleksa Burmazović. A profile published by the Trade Law Centre describes him as project manager at Adrianople Group, a business intelligence and consulting firm working on special economic zones, and says he works regularly in sub-Saharan Africa and concentrates on the investment attraction policies of Central African states. The same profile credits him as host of the firm’s Geoeconomics Podcast, and in 2021 he appeared with the Adrianople co-founder Preston Martin on the Curious Worldview podcast to explain what special economic zones are and why states build them.
