Kids — Free Cities Conference 2027
October 28–31, 2027 · Prague
Little ones are welcome
The Free Cities Conference is a family-friendly event. Children under 18 attend free when accompanied by a paying adult; we just ask that every child is registered with us in advance.
Registration is a safeguarding measure: it lets us know who is on site and keep the children’s spaces safe. Here’s what to know about bringing your family to Prague.

Everything for your family
Registering your children
Children go free, but for safeguarding reasons every child must be registered before the conference. Get in touch with each child’s name, age and the name of their accompanying adult, and we’ll add them to the guest list, or add a free child place alongside your own ticket when you book.
Registering also lets us plan the children’s spaces and keep you posted on activities during your stay.
The children’s play area
A special play area is set up in the networking room of Empire Hall during the main conference days, with a slide, a play tent and games, so younger attendees have somewhere of their own while you’re in the talks.
The play area is free to access. For everyone’s safety, children play under the supervision of their accompanying adult and should not be left unattended.
Childcare during the evenings
During the social highlights (the welcome drinks, the VIP dinner and the evening get-togethers) additional supervised childcare is available. Trusted educators run games and activities, giving children the chance to meet and play with other attendees’ kids while the grown-ups network.
A small fee covers incidental costs and the educators’ travel. To arrange a place, get in touch with each child’s name and age, any special needs, and your dates in Prague.
