Přemysl Bosák

Disputio

Přemysl Bosák is a voluntaryist with a strong interest in moral philosophy and the creation of free societies. After a career in finance he founded Disputio, a free, anonymous peer-to-peer dispute-resolution and negotiation platform that lets people resolve disputes without relying on an external authority.

Disputio pairs the two sides of a disagreement with an impartial guide who leads them through a structured conversation. Everyone is anonymous, including the guide, the exchange is visible to nobody else, and nobody decides anything: the guide does not judge, assign fault or impose an outcome, and any agreement reached is carried out voluntarily.

The design follows from the philosophy. If a society is to function without an authority that can compel people, the ordinary business of settling disputes has to work on consent alone, and Bosák built the platform as a working test of whether it can. He came to it after a career in finance.

He speaks on private dispute resolution in the Free Cities context, where the question is not abstract. A new jurisdiction has to offer its residents some way of resolving disagreements from the first day, long before it has courts, precedent or a police force of its own.
