Olivier Roland has been an entrepreneur since the age of nineteen, and, among his many hats, a blogger, YouTuber, amateur archaeologist, diver, aeroplane pilot, globetrotter and international speaker.
Across all his networks combined he is followed by close to 500,000 fans won over by his method, and has helped thousands of people create and grow a successful online business.
He started his first business, a computer repair company, at nineteen after leaving formal education behind, and later built the blog and publishing operation that made his name in the French-speaking world. His book Tout le monde n’a pas eu la chance de rater ses études, prefaced by the Free founder Xavier Niel, argues across several hundred references that formal education is one route to a working life rather than the route, and it has been a long-running bestseller in France.
He writes Disruptive Horizons in English on technology, longevity and the places that let people build, and he is a Free Cities Ambassador in Dubai, which is also where he lives: a jurisdiction he chose rather than inherited, and the practical version of the argument his books make.
