Pavla Karon
Entrepreneur & writer
Pavla Karon is a Czech entrepreneur and writer who co-runs her family business. An anarcho-capitalist and voluntarist who grew up under socialism, she writes and speaks on personal freedom in everyday life, with a particular focus on conscious parenting, relationships, and the path to inner freedom. She is a recurring guest on the Free Cities Podcast.
She grew up under socialism in Czechoslovakia, which is where her argument starts: that a person raised to defer does not become free when the regime changes, and that the habits of freedom are formed at home long before they are exercised anywhere else.
Her subjects are accordingly domestic rather than political. She writes and speaks on raising children who can think for themselves, on gender roles and family dynamics, and on the inner work that has to come first, and she has written on freedom-based parenting for the Foundation as well as appearing on its podcast.
