Daniel Prince is the author of Choose Life, host of the Once BITten! podcast and a father of four. His book offers practical advice for adventurous families who want to combine long-term world travel with a first-rate education for their children.
For six years he has taken his children on an educational journey across more than twenty countries, making the case that online learning services and tutoring networks are an attractive alternative to state-run schooling.
He and his wife left Singapore after fifteen years, sold nearly everything, took their four children out of school and travelled continuously, using home swaps rather than hotels: more than sixty of them, across sixteen countries and four continents.
Once BITten! grew out of that. Rather than technical explanations, the interviews are with people describing what actually changed for them, which is the format’s premise: most people are moved by another person’s circumstances rather than by an argument about monetary policy.
