The Free Cities Foundation team is excited to announce that the full schedule for our upcoming Liberty in Our Lifetime conference in Prague is now available on our conference website. If you’ve been considering joining us, it’s not too late to secure your tickets for this fantastic event, featuring over a dozen Free City projects from around the world, as well as a range of insightful speakers covering broader topics related to the freedom movement.
Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect:
Thursday, October 31st – Arrival & Welcome Drinks
For most attendees, October 31st is the arrival day. After you’ve touched down in Prague and settled into your hotel, we invite you to join us at Fuze Restaurant in the heart of the city for our Welcome Drinks. This is the perfect opportunity to meet some of the incredible speakers and like-minded attendees from over 30 countries. You can also collect your conference pass early to skip the queues on Friday morning.

Friday, November 1st – Conference Kickoff
At 8:30 AM, attendees will arrive at the stunning Empire Hall, an art deco venue located in central Prague. After registration, you’ll have time to mingle and explore our exhibition area. The team from RegenTribe will be on hand to help you feel at home and introduce you to other attendees – especially useful if you’re attending solo.

The first keynote, Titus Gebel’s “Free Cities: From Vision to Reality,” kicks off at 10 am, setting the tone for the event. You will then hear from Próspera co-founder Gabriel Delgado and Ciudad Morazán founder Massimo Mazzone, who will share insights into how the Honduran ZEDEs are accelerating into an election year.

Following the morning talks, if you have a Premium or VIP pass, you can enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at Empire Hall and discuss the morning’s talks with fellow attendees. (If you only have a GA pass, there’s still time to upgrade!)

The afternoon starts with exciting talks from seasteading pioneers Grant Romundt, Mitchell Suchner, and Joe Quirk. We’ll then hear from Vít Jedlička, president of the freedom-focused micronation Liberland, as well as leaders from intentional communities in Norway, Argentina, and Tanzania. The day’s talks wrap up at 7 PM, and VIP pass holders will enjoy an unforgettable dining experience at Restaurant Mlýnec. Set against the backdrop of breathtaking views of the Vltava River and the iconic Charles Bridge, this sumptuous three-course meal is the perfect opportunity to indulge in exquisite cuisine while connecting with fellow attendees. Saturday, November 2nd – Keynotes & Panels
Saturday begins at 10 AM with keynote presentations, including world-renowned architect Patrik Schumacher, who will discuss the implications of the metaverse on human freedom. We’ll also hear from Per Bylund from the Mises Institute on entrepreneurship and prosperity in Free Cities. Other talks will explore becoming a perpetual traveller, preparing for the rise of CBDCs, and moving to freedom-oriented communities in the tropics.

After lunch, you can dive into more thought-provoking topics such as how small states foster freedom and prosperity, a playbook for e-governance, obtaining a second citizenship in Latin America, and harnessing the power of Bitcoin mining in Free Cities. The day concludes with drinks and further discussions at Restaurant Čertovka.
Sunday, November 3rd – Family-Friendly Activities & Networking
Sunday offers a more relaxed schedule, with family-friendly and networking activities. You’ll have at least three options, including enjoying delicious Czech food, beer, and networking at Municipal House Cellar, and a Freedom Walk of Prague, featuring landmarks like the Letná Park Metronome, where Prague’s iconic Stalin statue once stood, and the Liberland Embassy.

While our team has loved hosting in Prague, we’ve decided that it’s time for a change. 2024 will be the last year we hold the Liberty in Our Lifetime conference in Prague, as we want to offer our community the chance to explore new and exciting destinations in the future.
